The annual Sandpoint High tennis camp, held from July 8-12 at Travers Park, was a resounding success, attracting experienced high school players from as far as Arkansas. Despite the record-breaking heat, the participants, ranging from local students to out-of-state athletes, braved the scorching 105-degree court temperatures, showcasing their dedication and passion for the sport.

Under the guidance of Head Coach Kent Anderson and a team of experienced coaches, including Cici Rickert, Kent Stadum, Khloe Kylonnen, Steve Kirby, Jeff Emmer, Maisie Brazill, Larry West, and Evan Wiley, the camp provided an intensive training regimen for the high school-aged players.The coaches' keen observations during the camp have led them to believe that both the Sandpoint High boys and girls tennis teams have a strong chance of making state championship runs in 2025.
